David Wilson directs a stunning “monster film” for MASSTOR’s Self-Control, a cover of Raf’s 1984 hit. After spending his free time experimenting with Midjourney in September 2022 — and creating Retro Futurist Daddies, a beautifully curated feed of AI-generated mustached men as a result — David Wilson caught the attention of Los Angeles-based artist MASSTOR, who asked for his help in creating this tour-de-force blend of performance, character design and muscular aesthetics.
Self-Control.
Blending high-fashion nostalgia, retrofuturistic imagery and moments of pure fantasy, we see the artist hanging out in a bar, surrounded by muscular men and other plush creatures, having the time of his life.
It is eclectic and completely captivating, and explores areas of iconography that speak directly to Wilson’s passions, as he has established himself as an ever-growing presence in the filmmaking community.
From costume design to art direction and photography, it is a polished visual piece that retains a certain dance-floor grit and sex appeal, and there is one thing that almost guarantees you will not see another music video like this today!

British Airways x Ozwald Boateng | OUR NEW UNIFORM
Through this promotional video, British Airways unveiled a new uniform for the first time in nearly 20 years.
Our point of view: But what about brand identity?
The uniforms are hard to fault. They are smart, elegant and perfectly suited to a 2023 carrier, but it is interesting to note that this is the feeling that remains with us. If you were to remove the Speedmarque, the uniforms could belong to almost any carrier. In fact, they seem to bear a closer resemblance to American Airlines or Iberia, somewhat blurring the lines within the group.
That said, British Airways struggles to encapsulate British influence and design because, by its very nature, the nation is a melting pot of international influences. Britain’s heritage and culture are now those of a modern and international country, and any reference to “British” design globally evokes stereotypical images of the Union Jack, Big Ben and fish and chips. Ozwald has therefore done exactly the right thing here by reflecting a modern Britain, but unlike Virgin, the carrier’s design palette could fall once again into the “sea of blue” trap and will require stronger signature elements throughout the passenger experience to truly stand out from the competition.

Designed by British fashion designer and Savile Row tailor Ozwald Boateng, OBE, the new uniform is inspired by our people and the experience of flight.

There is a first time for everything
The first time we met them was at the 6th edition of VivaTech in Paris from June 15 to 18, 2022. We were introduced to Lahouari BENNAOUM, Managing Director of Audi France, and Xavier CHARDON, Chairman of the Management Board of Volkswagen Group France, who gave us a tour of this new marvel, which at the time was still a unique prototype presented to an audience for the very first time.
What will tomorrow’s mobility look like? Thanks to concept cars such as the Audi AI:ME¹, it is already possible today to take a look at the future of mobility. In these cars, particular emphasis is placed on the interior.
A glimpse into the future
Based on our discussions, the model is not yet commercially available. It was the beginning of a collaboration with unlimited access to the company’s data in order to design a presentation for this futuristic model. Today, that work has been completed, and here is the first of dozens of animated CONCEPT pieces that you will soon see on your screens.
